The Coshocton Gun Club has several NRA Certified Instructors who regularly conduct training. We hold courses in Basic Pistol, Basic Rifle, Basic Shotgun and Muzzleloader, as well as 12-hour courses for the Ohio Concealed Handgun License.

Basic Firearms Training

If you are interested in learning how to shoot or how to handle a firearm safely, our NRA Certified Instructors are available. Classes can be structured to accommodate your schedule and requirements.

Concealed Carry Training

CCW courses are generally held monthly. Courses are 12 hours in length and normally run on a Friday night from 6p – 10p and Saturday from 9a – 5p. We will run a one-day, 12-hour course on request with a minimum of five students. Students need to bring a defensive handgun, belt holster, eye & ear protection plus 100 rounds of ammunition.

CHL Renewal Certification

If you currently have an Ohio Concealed Handgun License you need to attain a Certificate of Competency within 6 years of your original training class. The Gun Club holds a 2-hour CCW Renewal Course monthly.

Advanced CCW Class

Our instructors offer Advanced CCW training for people with a current CHL/CCW who would like to become more proficient and improve their shooting skills. A minimum of five students are required for a formal class and private instruction for as few as one student can be arranged with an instructor.
